Hickory Choral Society Fall Concert

The events of the century’s first 25 years have tested our communities in profound ways. Yet through every season of uncertainty and change, the human spirit has continued to persevere. We have comforted one another, rebuilt together, found hope in unexpected places—and still we sing. Throughout our 49th season, the Hickory Choral Society will celebrate the resilience that has carried us forward and explores music’s unique ability to heal, unite, and inspire.

Our season begins this fall with a moving concert of remembrance and renewal. The first half includes selections commemorating the twenty-fifth anniversary of September 11, including a stirring rendition of “God Bless America”. The second half of the concert features a collaboration with Asheville-based bluegrass band Aubrey Eisenman and the Clydes, a set inspired by ongoing recovery after Hurricane Helene.
