Ready to Learn Storytime: Preschool (Wed & Thurs)

Our Ready to Learn Storytimes are based on the evidence-based Every Child Ready to Read curriculum, which helps parents and caregivers build the early literacy skills children need before starting school. Each storytime focuses on the five key practices of singing, talking, reading, writing, and playing to support healthy brain development and prepare children for lifelong learning.

Through stories, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, crafts, movement, and play, children build language, social, and developmental skills while having fun. Caregivers also learn simple ways to continue these learning activities at home through everyday interactions. Storytime is also a wonderful opportunity for children to socialize with others their age, practice participating in a group setting, and develop a love of books and learning.
